Meet The Leadership Team

Executive Chairman

Vishal Padiyar

Vishal Padiyar is a Managing Director in Brookfield’s Infrastructure Group and the Executive Chairman of Radiant. Prior to his secondment to Radiant, Vishal was focused on supporting the growth and operational development of European portfolio companies within the firm’s infrastructure platform. This included technical diligence, asset management and strategic execution across data infrastructure and telecom-related assets. 

Before joining Brookfield in 2018, Vishal held executive leadership roles at BAI Canada, the Canadian arm of global telecom company BAI Communications (sold to Rogers Communications) and Public Mobile where he led network deployment, service delivery and operations. 

He holds an MBA from the Ivey Business School at Western University, a Master’s in Engineering from Texas A&M University, and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Rutgers University.

President

Mahdi Yahya

Mahdi is the President at Radiant. An entrepreneur, investor and telecommunications executive, he was most recently the founder and CEO of Ori Industries. Prior to founding Ori Industries, he was CEO of Sama Telecom, one of the largest carrier networks in the Middle East. He is currently a limited partner in Episode 1 Ventures.

A proud patron of the arts, Mahdi sits on the board of the Royal Court Theatre and formerly served on the Tate Museum of Modern Art’s Acquisition Committee. His passion led him to found Room One, an organisation in London that was dedicated to fostering collaboration between the technology and the arts sectors. 

Chief Technology Officer

Chris Galloway

Chris Galloway is the Chief Technology Officer at Radiant. He leads the company's technical vision and the engineering team responsible for building the Radiant platform. Previously, he served in the same role at Ori, having progressively advanced through roles including Head of Engineering, Deputy Chief Engineer, and Principal Engineer since joining in 2020.

Before Ori, Chris held the position of Senior Solution Design Engineer & Manager at Broadcom Inc., following its acquisition of Symantec. His tenure at Symantec spanned nearly a decade, during which he held several key infrastructure and engineering roles. A primary achievement during this time was re-platforming a large-scale production Email Security service to Amazon Web Services (AWS) to improve customer experience and reduce operational overhead.

Chris began his career at MessageLabs (later part of Symantec), managing infrastructure for large-scale email security, and managed security services.

He holds a BSc (hons) in Internet Computing from The University of Hull.

Chief Marketing Officer

Jonathan Symonds

Jonathan Symonds is the Chief Marketing Officer for Radiant, where he is responsible for product marketing, field marketing, demand generation, and corporate awareness.

A seasoned marketing leader with over 20 years of experience in enterprise software, AI and analytics - he was previously the CMO at MinIO, the high-performance, Kubernetes-native object storage company and at Ayasdi (acquired by SymphonyAI), a pioneer in the field of machine intelligence. Prior to those roles served as the VP of Marketing for GPU-powered analytics leader HeavyAI (formerly OmniSci/MapD).

Jonathan began his career in the U.S. Department of State before transitioning to the technology startup world with senior roles at Ace Metrix (iSpotTV) and 2Wire (Ericsson).

Jonathan holds an MBA from the Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University and a BA in Political Science from Washington and Lee University.

CHief customer officer

José Domingos

José Domingos is Chief Customer Officer at Radiant, where he is responsible for solutions engineering, product direction, technical operations, and customer success across large-scale AI and infrastructure deployments. With more than 25 years of experience in telecommunications, networking, and cloud platforms, he specialises in translating complex distributed systems into operational, revenue-generating services.

Previously, José held the same executive responsibilities at Ori, overseeing the development and delivery of AI-focused cloud platforms supporting high-performance and regulated environments. Earlier in his career, José spent over two decades at BT, serving as a Chief Platform Architect. He was responsible for the design and assurance of more than 200 network and IT systems, including global monitoring and control platforms underpinning critical telecommunications infrastructure.

José holds an MSc in Control Theory from Imperial College London and a degree in Electronic Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico.

Joao Coelho

Joao Coelho is the VP of Product at Radiant. A product and engineering leader with deep expertise in AI, cloud architecture and platform development, he previously served as the Head of Product at Ori, where he was responsible for driving the vision and execution of the company's AI infrastructure and cloud offerings.

Before taking on his current role, Joao was the CEO and Co-Founder of Multy, an open-source, multi-cloud infrastructure provider that was acquired by Ori. Prior to co-founding Multy, Joao spent four years as a Solutions Architect at Amazon Web Services.

Investor Overview

Brookfield is a global alternative asset manager, deploying capital across real estate, infrastructure, energy, and private equity. It is uniquely positioned to meet the multi-trillion-dollar demand for AI’s physical infrastructure through its focus on highly contracted, capital-intensive, long-duration assets spanning power generation, data centers, software, and compute infrastructure.
